Oil and Gas Development Company Limited has resumed work on the Jhal Magsi Gas Project in the context of meeting the growing energy needs of the country.
The commissioning of the state-of-the-art gas processing plant with a capacity of 13.7 mmscf of gas per day will help to meet Pakistan’s growing energy needs to some extent. And gas development reflects the company’s commitment to further exploration and production of oil and gas in the area.
Apart from commercial operations, the company also highlighted its commitment to improve the quality of life of the local population in Jhal Magsi through social welfare works in the areas of education, health, water and infrastructure.

As part of its efforts to enhance health facilities, OGDCL has provided an ambulance to the District Headquarters Hospital at Jhal Magsi, besides, OGDCL has implemented reverse osmosis, keeping in mind the importance of clean drinking water. (RO) plant has also been installed.
