Foreign exchange reserves increased by 530 million dollars during a week

Karachi: The government’s foreign exchange reserves increased by 53.3 million dollars during the last week.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, government reserves increased by $53.3 million during the past week. The increase was due to recovery of government commercial loans of $300 million.

According to the Central Bank, on June 23, the total value of government foreign exchange reserves was recorded at 4 billion 699 million dollars.
Commercial banks have reserves of 5 billion 27 million dollars, while the total foreign exchange reserves of the country have reached the level of 9 billion 34 million dollars.
