Islamabad: A case has been registered against the driver, owner and others for the bus accident that took place at Motorway M2 Salt Range Klarkahar.
A case has been registered at Kallar Kahar police station under section 322 of the murder bill, sections 337 G, 279, 427 for causing damage by negligence and careless diving and section 109 of the Penal Code. The case was registered in the complaint of Motorway Police Inspector Mohammad Bilal.
Bus driver Farhat Abbas Shah, bus owner Akram of Shalimar Company, base manager Ansar, main base manager of Shalimar Company Jhang Mian Haider and motor vehicle examiner are also named in the case.
According to the text of the FIR, the passenger said that the bus was broken when it started to depart from Rawalpindi base, the driver of the bus, the bus owner of Shalimar Company and the base manager of Rawalpindi were also informed about the problem, but no one paid attention. And said to the driver, just take it.
The bus could not run properly due to breakdowns on the way and met with an accident due to the negligence of the driver near Klarkahar.
Police say that raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. 13 people including three children and five women died and 18 were injured in the accident.
