Indian film Aadi Purush set a record by doing business of 37 crores in India and 140 crores worldwide on the first day despite heavy criticism.
Om Rawat released Adi Purush on Friday despite heavy criticism, a film based on the Hindu religious book Ramayana.
The film did a record breaking business on the first day at the box office, earning 37 crores in India and 140 crores worldwide.
The film stars Prabhas as Raghu, Kriti Sanon as Janki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.
T-Series took to its social media to share the earnings figures of the film Aadi Purush and termed it a huge success and expressed its humbleness at the love of the people.
Based on the T-series press notes, Indian media called the film’s first-day earnings a record in Bollywood and said that Adi Porsche has proved to be a hit at the box office.
According to the report, Aadi Porash has joined the list of Hrithik Roshan’s Vaar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan thanks to its excellent box office performance.
