Demanding an apology from Khawaja Asif for calling vice chancellors of Sindh universities 'robbery'

Karachi: The vice chancellors of public universities of Sindh province and the chairman of Sindh HEC have strongly condemned Federal Minister Khawaja Asif for calling the vice chancellors ‘robbery’ in the National Assembly and demanded an apology from them.

This demand was made by Chairman of Sindh HEC Dr. Tariq Rafi and Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University Professor Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Allah Bakhsh Soomro University of Art Design and Heritage Arbela Bhutto and Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University Tando Jam in a joint letter. Apart from them, Vice Chancellor of NED University Sarosh Lodhi, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Dr. Farooq Hasan, Vice Chancellor of Bhat Shah University Dr. Parveen Manshi, Vice Chancellor of Dawood Engineering University Dr. Samreen Hussain and other universities.
