Karachi: The Sindh government could not increase even one percent in provincial revenue and non-tax revenue.

According to the budget documents, the total estimate of ongoing expenses is 136 billion 25 billion 62 lakh rupees, the total estimate of income is 2209 billion 78 billion rupees, the target of provincial revenue is 202 billion 90 billion rupees, 235 billion rupees will be collected in the form of provincial sales tax on services.

The non-tax income of the province is estimated at 32 billion rupees, the total tax and non-tax income of Sindh is estimated at 469 billion 90 crore rupees.

The government of Sindh will take a loan of 36 billion 13 crore rupees in the next financial year, in the financial year 2022-23, 35 billion 58 crore rupees were taken as local repayments and loans estimated at 6 billion 13 crore 28 lakh rupees, 30 billion loan will be taken from the banks according to the budget documents of the Sindh government. 1353 billion 22 crore rupees will be received from the federal government.

1255 billion 6 crore rupees will be received from the federation in the form of revenue assignment. 64 billion 42 crore rupees will be received through direct transfer. 33 billion 74 crore rupees will be received in octroi and district taxes. It is expected to get 266 billion 69 crore rupees.

It is estimated to receive 22 billion 91 crore 21 lakh rupees in the form of federal grant. It is expected to receive 5 billion 92 crore 32 lakh rupees in the form of foreign grant.
