Karachi: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that as long as Kashmiris are victims of Indian atrocities, Pakistan will never sit with China and become a silent spectator.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day said that the Kashmir issue will remain the main pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy until Kashmiris get the right to self-determination according to the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

The foreign minister said that for seven decades, Indian occupation forces have inflicted atrocities on Kashmiris and deprived them of their rights. Today Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is one of the highest military deployment areas in the world where more than 9 lakh occupying Indian troops are stationed.

Bilawal Bhutto said that India has opened a new chapter of oppressing the people of Occupied Kashmir with its illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019. Indian rulers have introduced fresh delimitation of constituencies, issuing millions of domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris and adding millions of non-Kashmiris to voter lists, with the aim of turning Kashmiris into a powerless minority in their own land.

The foreign minister said Kashmiris are living in constant fear as Indian forces continue to use indiscriminate force and extrajudicial killings in “siege and search” operations. Kashmiris face illegal detention, torture and confiscation of property.

Bilawal Bhutto further said that India has to end serious human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir. India will withdraw the unilateral and illegal actions of August 5, 2019, including changes in the demographic structure, and implement the relevant UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir, Pakistan will continue its unwavering moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri people.
