Accused Rizwan is also the son-in-law of a former army officer, police said
Lahore: The police also arrested the former IG’s son in connection with the attack on the Corps Commander’s House.
The son of former IG Sindh and Punjab Major (Rtd) Zia-ul-Hasan was also arrested on charges of burning and vandalizing Jinnah House on May 9.
According to the police, the accused Rizwan Zia was arrested for protesting and vandalizing outside the Corps Commander’s House.
Rizwan was arrested after the geo-fencing location was revealed. Accused Rizwan is also the son-in-law of a former army officer.
Efforts are being made by the police to arrest other associates of the accused.
