Ayub Stadium power cut for non-payment of dues of millions of rupees

Quetta: The Kanpur Electric Supply Company Limited (KESCO) cut off the electricity to the Ayub Stadium in Balochistan due to non-payment of dues, after which several National Games competitions could not be held.

According to Express News, KISCO has cut off the power to Ayub Stadium due to non-payment of dues by the Sports Department.

According to Keskew, the sports department has to pay the dues of 39 lakh 14 thousand 423 rupees, despite having funds, the department did not pay the bills and acted in a evasive manner, due to which this step had to be taken.

The company spokesperson has made it clear that Ayub Stadium’s electricity will not be restored until the dues are paid.
