Pakistan showbiz industry’s well-known senior artist Bushra Ansari spoke openly about her failed marriage of 36 years in her recent interview.
While giving an interview to private digital magazine, he said that getting a divorce after 36 years of marriage is not easy for anyone, it is not that it happened all of a sudden.
She said that I was separated from my ex-husband Iqbal Ansari for 10 years before I divorced him, but people never came to know about it.
He said that there were problems in our life like normal people, which is not necessary for everyone to know, we tried to keep the marriage together and apart for the sake of our children but it could not happen.
She praised her ex-husband and said that he never stopped me from working after marriage, but he taught me to work, he made many playwrights and taught them to work, I also learned from him. Learned to write plays but as husband and wife we could not live together.
She said that she is still in touch with her ex-husband because of the children.
