Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail was produced before the anti-terrorism court in Karachi on completion of two-day police remand in the case of rioting during the protest against the arrest of Imran Khan.
The investigating officer requested to be remanded, on which the court sent Imran Ismail to jail on judicial remand and ordered to present a challan to the investigating officer at the next hearing.
On the other hand, former governor Imran Ismail’s wife filed an application in the administrative court to provide B class application in the jail.
In the petition, it was argued that my husband has been the governor of the province and is also a tax payer, so Imran Ismail has the right to a better class in jail. Imran Ismail should be provided B class facility in jail.
