Karachi: The police launched a large-scale crackdown on those involved in violent incidents in Karachi on May 9.
According to the details, the persons involved in the violent incidents are being identified with the help of Command and Control cameras while identification process is going on with NADRA to identify several accused.
Sources say that the police registered cases under various provisions against more than 900 accused including Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders in the violent incidents in Karachi on May 9, but now the accused have been identified with the help of police command and control cameras. The process has started.
According to police sources, these violent incidents took place at Nursery and Allahwali Chowrangi, where police and Rangers posts, red bus, one car, several motorcycles, water board bikes and several trees were set on fire.
Sources say that the accused who were identified with the help of command and control cameras are Member National Assembly Faheem Khan, Member Sindh Assembly Raja Azhar, Abdul Rehman, elected UC Chairman, Gohar Khattak Deputy General Secretary, Asad Khattak, Umar. Rehman, Nadeem Gujjar, Akhtar Gujjar, Rafafaat Afridi, Habibullah, Mohammad Sabir, Mohammad Naveed, Mehtamam Shah, Sajid, Rao, Rashid, Raheel, Sher Ali, Ijaz Tanoli are included.
According to police sources, pictures of more than 100 alleged suspects involved in acts of violence have been obtained with the help of other cameras of several people.
