The Islamabad High Court declared Imran Khan’s arrest as per the law.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq delivered a safe verdict, the court has also issued contempt notices to the Interior Secretary and the IG Islamabad on the matter of vandalism, the Registrar has ordered the Islamabad High Court to file an FIR, the Registrar Will inquire and submit report by May 16.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had reserved the verdict in the case of the arrest of Chairman PTI from the court premises, which was pronounced today.
According to Express News, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq held a hearing regarding Imran Khan’s cases and asked loudly what happened? They were told that Imran Khan was arrested. The court said that whoever has done this wrong, the Advocate General said to give half an hour.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem said that police, lawyers and staff were killed by Rangers. The court asked that Imran Khan has been arrested in which case? Tell me right away.

Taking notice of the matter, Chief Justice Amir Farooq summoned IG Islamabad, Interior Secretary within fifteen minutes. He also directed the Additional Attorney General to appear in fifteen minutes.
Ali Bukhari Advocate said that Imran Khan went to the branch to take biometrics, he was arrested by breaking the glasses of the biometric room, sprayed on our eyes and hit our heads with sticks.
Rangers torture Imran Khan, lawyer Barrister Gohar
At the time of the incident, Barrister Ali Gohar, present in Daira branch, said that Rangers tortured Imran Khan, hit him on the head and leg, all the people who arrested Imran Khan were Rangers personnel, tortured Imran Khan’s injured leg. Imran Khan’s wheelchair was thrown there, employees, lawyers were killed, glasses were broken.
After the break, the hearing resumed and the arrest of Imran Khan from the court premises was discussed. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq said that NAB was not there at the time of Imran Khan’s arrest. If it is not done according to the law, they will pass the appropriate order, if something is done outside the law, then the consequences will have to be borne. Lawyer Salman Safdar said that after what happened today, advocacy is over.
The court had summoned the Interior Secretary and the IG, on which Advocate General Islamabad said that the Interior Secretary is in Peshawar and the Additional Interior Secretary is coming in his place, who is on the way.
The Chief Justice expressed his anger and said that how big is Islamabad? It takes fifteen minutes. The IG told the court that Imran Khan was arrested by NAB and there were warrants for his arrest.
Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that there was a request for interim bail of Imran Khan, while the IG said that I don’t know where the arrest took place. Lawyer Barrister Gohar told the court that a rod was hit on the head of Imran Khan, I am ready to give this affidavit.
Injured lawyer Ali Bukhari and Naeem Haider Panjhota appeared before the court who presented the copy of Imran Khan’s warrant before the court.
Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that the arrest cannot be made outside the court, the law says that they cannot be arrested during the inquiry. It is necessary to reverse.

Meanwhile, the Additional Attorney General said that shilling is happening that’s why the Additional Home Secretary did not come, to which the Chief Justice said that I don’t get angry but don’t test my patience. Lawyer Faisal Chaudhry said that today is a day of anger.
The Chief Justice said that I don’t know that NAB can arrest anyone in this way. What happened to court staff, lawyers, police, common people? Is this arrest legal?
The Additional Attorney General said that what happened to our lawyers is not correct, the rest of the warrant has been executed, the court said that the manner in which it was executed, was it proper? Attack on lawyers What is this attack on me? Imran Khan has been arrested, it is not that simple, so I have to see, I have to satisfy myself that this arrest has taken place from the premises of the court.
Lawyer Naeem Haider Panjhota said that the doors and glasses of the district branch were broken and the court asked if they were in uniform. So Naeem Haider said yes, of course he was in uniform, there are videos of him, I request that you have the authority to order the production of Imran Khan, the registrar is the complainant of this case, we have videos, this is Imran. There was an attempt to kill Khan, in 45 years of this profession I have never seen an arrest by a covered court.
The Additional Attorney General said that the bar room and the parking will be considered a court? On this, all the lawyers started saying shame on the request of the Additional Attorney General, the court directed all the lawyers to remain silent.
Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that if I was there, the same would have happened to me. Advocate General Islamabad said that what has happened to the lawyers is not right.
IG Islamabad said that I don’t know where the incident took place. Khawaja Haris has told that he came for bail, let me know which of my policemen were injured.
The Additional Secretary appeared in the Home Court and said that the Rangers have a standing in the High Court, while the IG said that the Rangers can exercise police powers.
The Chief Justice told him that my brothers are standing in front of me, what will happen to them? The building will be fine but the dignity must be preserved, where will we stand if the system breaks down?
Advocate General Islamabad said that the report will be given to the police by tomorrow. Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that the independence of the judiciary has been spoken about today. They go, there is so much lying there, they say, we don’t know, which article of the constitution allows this, I have constitutional rights, our petition is that if we are not given notice, we will be arrested, this roll-off. It is a matter of law.
The Additional Secretary Interior said that the Rangers were deployed due to security, to which Chief Justice Amir Farooq objected that arresting during the deployment is a different matter. I am a student of Advocate General said that I request that a report be called for.
The court summoned DG NAB Rawalpindi and Prosecutor General NAB in half an hour and adjourned the hearing for half an hour.
Hearing after adjournment
When the hearing started after the break, lawyer Salman Safdar said that how NAB opened the judges’ gate, all the limits have been crossed, today it is a matter of the dignity of the lawyer, when the bail comes, arrest cannot be made.
The court inquired from the lawyer of NAB that when the inquiry turned into an investigation and whether its record has been given to the accused. As the reply began, the court stopped the NAB prosecutor from discussing the merits and the chief justice remarked that all I want to see today is that the arrest was legally valid.
The NAB prosecutor informed the court that we have to produce Imran Khan in the trial court within 24 hours, on which Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris said that it has just come to know that they had gone to arrest Bushra Bibi as well. have filed their petition here today.
The Chief Justice inquired whether the Ministry of Home Affairs received any recommendation from NAB, on which the Additional Secretary Home sought respite from the court and said that I can tell only after confirmation.
IG Islamabad informed the court that he was aware of the Rangers’ action, and the Rangers complied with the warrants in the presence of the Islamabad Police.
On this, the court remarked that what happened was not too much, if all this fell into the illegal category, then what? If four wrongs are put together, one cannot be right, the method adopted was not correct. After the arguments were completed, the Islamabad High Court reserved its decision on the issue of Imran Khan’s arrest.
