Rate of interest of National Savings Schemes has been revised. The average return on Special Savings Certificates has been increased to 17.40%.
The interest rate on savings accounts has been increased from 18.5% to 19.5%.
The yield on one-year short-term savings certificates has been increased from 19.82% to 20.80%.
In National Savings, the profit of 6-month short-term savings certificates was 20.82 percent, while the profit on 3-month certificates was increased from 19.92 to 20.84 percent.
The rate of return on Defense Savings Certificate has been maintained at 14.87% while the return on Regular Income Certificate has been maintained at 12.84%.
Pensioners, Welfare and Martyrs’ Families Certificate profit remained at 16.56%.
