Karachi: The national cricket team won the first position in the world points table by defeating New Zealand in the fourth ODI.
Pakistan easily defeated New Zealand by 102 runs in the fourth match of the five-match ODI series in Karachi.
After winning the fourth ODI against New Zealand, the Pakistani team has become the first in the world table points with 113 points, while Australia and India are on the second and third places.

In the ICC points table, Pakistan is first with 113.483, Australia is second with 113.286 and India is third with 112.683.
It should be noted that this is the first time that Pakistan has come to the first position in the ODI world ranking.

Former national team captain Shahid Afridi congratulated the national team for achieving the first position in the ICC rankings and described the moment as historic. Continuing his speech, Afridi congratulated Babar Azam for scoring 5000 runs and centuries and wrote that Agha Salman, Osama Mir, Muhammad Wasim told how it was possible.
