Thukar Niaz Bag: The rickshaw driver assaulted the traffic warden and injured him for disallowing wrong parking.
According to Express News, the traffic warden prohibited the rickshaw from parking wrongly, so the driver got angry and attacked the warden with an iron rod and tore his head off.
After the incident, the rickshaw driver left the rickshaw and fled from the spot.
A case registration application has been submitted against the accused in Mustafa Town police station while the rickshaw has been stopped.
Taking notice of the incident of violence on the warden by the rickshaw driver, CTO Lahore has ordered action and directed the best treatment for the injured warden.
CTO Lahore Mustansar Feroze said on the incident that the wardens are there to protect the life and property of the citizens, such behavior towards them is very regrettable. He further said that the case against the accused will be fully pursued.
