London: British experts have done research and said that a common herb in China has proved to be very useful in heart attacks.

This herb is a type of astragalus with the English name Astragalus. Now, a cardiologist at the University of Newcastle, Luke Spirodopoulos, and his colleagues have derived a drug from the mulberry called TA65.

When the drug was given to elderly people for a year after a heart attack, not only did the patients’ mental strength increase, but lymphocytes increased and the incidence of chest and joint pain also decreased. Similarly, the internal irritation of the patient’s body also started to decrease.

This is why inflammation is a major cause of cancer and heart disease and must be reduced after a heart attack. In this way the patients are also protected from various infections and this is what the drug called TA65 has done.

A total of 90 patients aged 65 and over were tested at Newcastle University. Blood and other physical tests were also taken during the one-year drug administration.

In the next phase, it will be tested on more people.
