Karachi: Monkey pox was not diagnosed in 4 suspected patients

Karachi: In 4 suspected monkeypox patients, this disease was not diagnosed.

The Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases has sent the test reports of the four suspected monkeypox patients to the health department, according to which they were not diagnosed with the disease. Out of the four patients, two are from Pakistan and two from Sudan.

According to the sources, the skin samples of the patients who arrived at Karachi Airport on Thursday were taken and sent for chemical analysis.

The samples were tested using PCR technique after which their reports were sent to the health department today. Reports have confirmed that no symptoms of monkeypox were found in patient samples.
