During a rocket attack on a Turkish military base in Iraq, two rockets landed inside the base, but no casualties were reported.
Turkey’s Zilkan base in Nineveh province of northern Iraq was attacked at 7:54 am.
According to a foreign news agency, an Iran-backed religious group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
2 rockets landed inside the military base while the remaining 6 crashed nearby, no casualties reported yet.
Turkey confirmed the attack and indicated retaliation.
Turkish Defense Minister Halusi Akar while talking to media representatives in Ankara said that our military bases are attacked from time to time and we also take action against them.
