New York: Famous American TV host Jeffrey Springer died of cancer at the age of 79.
Jeffrey Springer hosted the TV show for a long 27-year run and his shows were famous for the fights between the guests.
According to American media, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago and could not recover from this disease.
From 1991, ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ started and discussed the social issues and American politics of ordinary people.
After some time, the format of the show changed and it started showing explosive content, often the guests came to discuss their family problems and were escorted off the show by security guards.
In the 1990s, the show became the most popular program in American TV ratings, even surpassing Oprah Winfrey’s show.
