Muhammad Ashraf was arrested from Lahore on the identification of the previously arrested off-load accused
Lahore: FIA has arrested the accused who cheated crores of rupees on the pretense of a job abroad.
According to the spokesman, FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Lahore has arrested a human trafficker who was defrauding citizens in the name of visa in a major operation.
The accused extorted crores of rupees from ordinary citizens by pretending to get a job abroad. The accused was receiving 25 to 30 lakh rupees from citizens in the name of employment abroad in Canada. The accused Muhammad Ashraf was arrested from Lahore on the identification of the previously arrested off-load accused. Several passports, fake Canadian visa stickers, identity cards, educational certificates were recovered from the possession of the accused.
The accused has been arrested and investigation has been started. Director FIA Lahore Zone Sarfraz Khanwark while appreciating the efforts of the team said that all resources will be used to arrest the human traffickers. Human traffickers involved in visa fraud will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law and agents producing fake travel documents will continue to be prosecuted indiscriminately.
