Karachi: During the last week, after the recovery of more than 30 million dollars in the form of loans, an increase of 40 million 4 million dollars was recorded in the foreign exchange reserves of the country.
According to the State Bank, on the week ending April 14, the foreign exchange reserves of the country increased from the level of 9 billion 56 million dollars to 9 billion 96 million 49 million dollars.
Meanwhile, the reserves of the central bank increased by 394 million dollars to 4 billion 432 million dollars while the reserves of commercial banks remained at the level of 5 billion 53 million dollars with an increase of 62 million dollars.
