The second story is that of Faheem Abbas of Basti Boharwala district Muzaffargarh. “There was poverty in the house and an atmosphere of poverty in the parents. The mother started cleaning the houses and washing the dishes and feeding the children.

Faheem Abbas had been employed at a shop in the village since the sixth grade. He would go to school after cleaning the shop in the morning. He would come back to the shop again. He would get a day off in the evening. He was doing his school “homework” and this went on.He passed his matriculation exam with top marks.

Along with his studies, Jam Samiullah also started doing small jobs, sometimes washing dishes in a hotel and sometimes working as a salesman in a store. The next destination was to get admission in MBBS.

With the money earned from small jobs, he prepared for the entrance test by paying the fees of a private academy and got admission in Nishtar Medical University, Multan. Relatives and friends helped him financially and he got admission in MBBS. Expenses were high so he continued his studies as well as a job.

In the second year, the academic load increased so much that he had to quit his job, giving time to education was surrounded by financial difficulties. A friend told him about the Karwan Alam Foundation. Scholarship released.
