Karachi: A fire broke out in 3 factories simultaneously in New Karachi Industrial Area, as a result of which goods worth crores of rupees were destroyed, the fire in 2 factories has been extinguished, while the fire in the third factory could not be controlled even after 8 hours. Is.

According to the details, on Wednesday morning, a fire broke out in 3 factories at the same time near New Karachi Industrial Area, Sector 16 B, Karachi Konta, Gabol Town Police Station area, which became violent as soon as it was seen.

On receiving the information, Police, Rescue 1122, Sindh Rangers officials, representatives of voluntary organizations and fire brigade staff reached the spot along with 5 fire tenders and the fire brigade staff started trying to control the fire.

After about 2 to 3 hours of efforts, the fire in the motorcycle parts and oil factory was brought under control, while the fire on the ground floor of the bed shed manufacturing factory went out of control.

Further spread rapidly upwards, the fire brigade personnel called for more fire tenders, bowsers, snorkels and water tankers from waterboard authorities. Meanwhile, the fire in the bed sheet factory reached the third floor of the building.

According to the Deputy Commander of Rescue 1122 Sindh Emergency Services, he received a report of fire in factories in New Karachi Industrial Area in his control room at around 8 o’clock. Up party was also invited on the occasion.

Chief Fire Officer Ashfaq Khan said that the fire in a factory in New Karachi Industrial Area has spread to three factories. At this time, the fire is not under control. And the fire at the back has been brought under control, but the fire brigade personnel have to go to work on the first and second floors of the building. There is also packing equipment in the factories.

The chief fire officer said that the fire brigade has called for a snorkel at the spot but there is no place to park the snorkel. The Chief Fire Officer said that there are 10 fire tenders of fire brigade, 12 bowers of water board to control the fire.

Chief Disaster Management Cell North Karachi Association while talking to media representatives said that the fire in the factory was reported at 7:45 am and rescue work is going on since 8 am.

He said that it was an export-oriented factory named Usman and Sons, there were 20 containers of ready-made goods in the factory during the fire and there was a loss of 30 crore rupees. When the fire broke out in the factory, the factory was closed at that time, how the fire started will be known only after the investigation.

Administrator Karachi Dr. Saifur Rehman and Assistant Commissioner Gulberg Neha Shah also reached the spot after receiving the information about the fire. As soon as the information was received, the vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot.

Dr. Saifur Rehman said that around 15 fire tenders took part in controlling the fire, 4 fire station officers and chief fire officer are present at the spot, the area is densely populated, vehicle movement is difficult, snorkel is also present here, the situation is under control, also from Nikati officials. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
