Islamabad: One terrorist was killed and two others were injured in an intelligence-based operation to intercept a group of terrorists in Naushman, south of Sabi.
According to the ISPR, the operation was launched from March 2023 to stop a group of terrorists active in Nushman, southern area of Sabi. The terrorists used to target civilians in the area and harass coal mine owners.
According to ISPR, on the basis of confirmed information, the security personnel were laying ambushes in the area of the terrorists for the last two days, during which a party of 3 terrorists was stopped while moving towards their hideout. On being stopped, they opened fire on the security forces.
According to the ISPR, one terrorist was killed and two others were injured during the fierce exchange of fire. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
