In India, the Punjab Police has arrested Amrit Pal Singh, a leader sympathetic to the Khalistan movement, along with 6 associates.
According to Indian media, internet has been suspended across Punjab till tomorrow afternoon.
The state government was waiting for the end of the global G20 meeting to take action against Amrit Pal Singh.
Amrit Pal Singh runs an organization called Waras Punjab De which was founded by late actor Deep Sidhu, who died in a traffic accident last year.
The police chased Amritpal Singh and his accomplices for 7 districts and nabbed them at Mehtapur village in Shahkot tehsil of Jalandhar.
Police blocked all the roads in Shahkot and erected huge barricades.
