King of Pop Michael Jackson’s nephew Taj Jackson has thanked actor Will Smith for slapping comedian Chris Rock.
Singer Taj Jackson also slammed Chris Rock for mocking his late uncle Michael Jackson during comedy specials.
Taj Jackson slammed Chris Rock on micro-blogging website Twitter for comparing the King of Pop to R. Kelly over past abuse allegations.
“Chris Rock has used my family like a punching bag throughout his career yet I felt bad seeing him get slapped and disrespected at the Oscars,” he wrote in his tweet.
“But when I saw a new video clip in the first few minutes of which he is making fun of my late uncle, I would like to say 3 things here in my reaction,” he wrote.
1- What has my family done to you that you continue to bully in the name of a joke for so long?
2- You have no right to mistreat others because of any mistreatment you have experienced in life.
3- Thanks to Will Smith
It should be noted that Chris Rock compared Michael Jackson to R. Kelly saying that both committed the same crime but one was punished and the other was not.
It is also important to mention here that singer R. Kelly was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for trafficking and sexual harassment and 20 years in federal child pornography, while Michael Jackson was previously sentenced to the same. Allegations came forward but they were honorably acquitted by the court.
