Chris Rock lashed out at Will Smith during a workshop event for his new Netflix show.
“People who ask me why I didn’t react to Will Smith’s slapping, my answer is that my upbringing didn’t allow me to because my parents taught me,” said Chris Rock. Never fight in front of white people.
He said Will Smith slapped me and everybody knows what happened there and everybody who really knows about the incident knows that I had nothing to do with it because I don’t have a problem with anybody. .
He criticized Will Smith saying that I am not a poor person and you will never see me crying or making noise over this incident.
Chris Rock’s special live show aired live on streaming service Netflix on March 4th, one week before this year’s Oscars Awards ceremony, from the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore.
It should be noted that this year the Oscar Academy Awards will be held on March 13.
