Legendary Pakistani actor Qavi Khan, who passed away in Canada, was buried at the Brampton cemetery after his funeral prayers were offered at the Jamia Masjid in Mississauga.
Senior actor Shahid, actor Mahmood Akhtar including Qavi Khan’s relatives and a large number of Pakistani community attended the funeral prayer.
Qavi Khan was laid to rest in Brampton city cemetery, actor Shahid Hameed appeared sad on the occasion.
Talking to Geo News, he said that Qavi Khan was a great artist and a very dear person, Qavi’s first and last film was with him.
Qavi Khan’s son Adnan Qavi said that he was with him in Canada for 5 months, he was sick but he never gave up hope, Qavi Khan loved Pakistan very much.
