Apple's announcement to set up an iPhone manufacturing plant in India

The famous American technology company Apple is going to set up a new manufacturing plant in the Indian state of Karnataka very soon.

According to the report of the news agency, the Indian government has confirmed that Apple has been given 300 acres of land in Karnataka to set up a manufacturing plant.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Apple’s partner technology group in India FOXCONN has planned to invest 700 million dollars in the state.

According to the government, the establishment of the manufacturing plant will create at least 100,000 jobs in the next 10 years.

Currently, the iPhone is assembled by three Apple suppliers in India.

Apple has been trying to set up its plants in India since the strict restrictions imposed by the government in China during the coronavirus outbreak.
