Messaging application WhatsApp has started testing a feature called ‘Message Yourself’. Using this feature, users will be able to send messages to themselves. According to the company, the “Message Yourself” feature is likely to be introduced in the upcoming version of WhatsApp for Android Beta. You will be able to see your number in the contact list, with the message “Yourself” written next to it.
Also, with seeing your number as a contact in WhatsApp, when you send something to your number, it will connect faster with other devices you’re using WhatsApp on. When users use WhatsApp’s multi-device feature, they can use WhatsApp on more than one device without the phone being connected to the Internet.
