Popular streaming service Netflix has reduced its monthly fee in 30 countries of the world.
According to international media reports, Netflix has decided to reduce its monthly fees in more than 30 countries of the world to attract more users in the face of increasing competition from rival companies in the market.
In this regard, the spokesperson of the streaming company while talking to the media said that fans have never before had more options to choose for entertainment.
“We’re always looking for new ways to improve our subscribers’ experience,” a Netflix spokesperson said, confirming that we’re lowering monthly fees in many countries.
The reduction in monthly subscription fees by Netflix will be applied in parts of Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
Countries where the subscription fee has been reduced include Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Croatia, Venezuela, Kenya and Iran.
The company did not include the UK or the US in the list of countries.
The monthly fee reduction will be applicable on certain plans and in some cases the subscription fee will be reduced by half.
