Four children died in a gas leakage explosion in Kharotabad Badizai Town, while a mother and a daughter were injured, two brothers, a sister and their nephew were among the dead.
According to the police, Hanafia Khan’s wife and 4 children and a grandson were sleeping in the room. When the ceiling of the room collapsed, Hanafia Khan’s 3 children, 6-year-old daughter Bibi Farishta, 7-year-old son Qudratullah, 14-year-old son Janan Khan and 3-year-old grandson Basir Ahmed were buried under the debris. He was crushed to death while his wife (H) and daughter Fatima Bibi were seriously injured due to burns.
The police and rescue team reached the spot and took the bodies and injured to the hospital.
