Karachi: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 5 fugitive terrorists of the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army in the case of the killing of 4 people including 3 Chinese nationals in the Karachi University bomb blast.

In front of the Special Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi, the trial of the death of 4 people, including 3 Chinese nationals, in the Karachi University bomb blast was heard. Jail authorities presented the arrested accused Dad Baksh.

Lawyer Safai, while pleading for adjournment of the hearing, stated that the request of the public prosecutor to run the USB in open court has to be challenged, so the hearing should be adjourned.

The court was upset over the failure to comply with the arrest warrants of the fugitive suspects and the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 5 fugitive terrorists. The court ordered the investigating officer to produce the report and witness about the fugitive accused.

The absconding terrorists include outlawed BLA Commander Bashir, Captain Rehman Gul, Khalil Ahmed Musa alias Waja, Mir Safir Ahmed and Bashir Zeib. The court adjourned the hearing till May 27.

According to the police, on April 2022, a suicide bomb blast was carried out in Karachi University in which 4 people including 3 Chinese nationals were killed. Among those killed were the director of the Confucian Institute of University of Karachi, Huang Guiping, Ding Mopeng, Chen Sai and the driver Khalid.

The accused involved in the facilitation is arrested in the Dad Bakhsh case, cases were registered against the accused in the CTD.
