The Israeli government will ban Jews from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque during the last decade of Ramadan.
According to the report of the Israel Broadcasting Corporation, harsh sentences were exchanged in the meeting of the government officials.
It has been decided in the meeting that like the previous years, this year also there will be a ban on entry of non-Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque during the last decade of Ramadan.
Israel’s Interior Minister Ben Gower strongly opposed the decision in a cabinet meeting. He said that Al-Aqsa Mosque should not be closed for Jews at any time of the year.
It should be noted that according to the decades-long agreement, non-Muslims are only allowed to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque during certain hours, but they cannot worship there.
It should be noted that Al-Aqsa Mosque is also the holiest place for Jews.
