Swat: The police detained the 70-year-old man who married the 13-year-old girl, the girl’s father, the bridegroom and the witnesses.
According to Express News, there has been a development in the case of the marriage of a 13-year-old girl to a 70-year-old man.
According to SHO Roshan Ali, the girl is being presented to the hospital for medical report while other legal requirements are being fulfilled, action will be taken after fulfilling the legal requirements.
The SHO has said that a cordon has been tightened around all the people involved in the incident, witnesses including Nikah Khawan have also been detained.
