The Punjab Assembly approved the supplementary budget worth more than 600 billion rupees.
According to Express News, the Finance Minister gave good news to the assembly employees on the approval of the budget and announced to give one month’s basic salary to the assembly employees as honorarium. At the same time, Deputy Speaker Zaheer Chand implemented the gluten law.
The Punjab Assembly approved the demands of 23 billion 25 crore 12 lakh 9 thousand in the supplementary budget 2022-23 of Prisons and Convict Settlements.
The Punjab Assembly approved the demands of 6 billion 38 crore 26 lakh seven thousand in the supplementary budget of Public Health 2022-23.
The Punjab Assembly approved the demands of 2 billion 64 crore 18 lakh 80 thousand in the supplementary budget of Veterinary 2022-23.
The Punjab Assembly has approved the demands of 66 crore 40 lakh one thousand rupees for the supplementary budget 2022-23 of various departments.
After completing the agenda, the Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly adjourned the meeting for an indefinite period.
