Karachi: Cold wave continues in Shahr Quaid and the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius at the weather station installed at Jinnah Terminal today.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the wind speed has reduced compared to two days and currently the wind speed is being recorded at 9 km per hour from the north-east direction of Quetta.
The lowest mercury in rural Sindh was recorded at 2 degree Celsius in Mohenjodaro.
The ongoing severe cold wave across the province including Karachi is likely to decrease from March 6. In Shahr-e-Quaid, winds from north-east direction of Balochistan may blow most of the time till Wednesday, while winds from south-west direction of the sea may remain inactive during this time.
