Karachi;  2 brothers killed for resisting robbery, one was married 3 months ago

Karachi: As a result of the boldness of robbers and the helplessness of the police in the city of Quaid, the killing of innocent citizens is becoming a routine. In the latest incident, 2 brothers were killed for resisting during the robbery, while yesterday, a 2-year-old innocent girl also died after being shot by the robbers.

The second brother who was seriously injured in the firing by unknown armed accused during the Orangi Town Banaras Flyover Project also succumbed to his injuries and died during treatment. Earlier, the elder brother, who was married 3 months ago, was killed by robbers on Friday night. The family of 2 close brothers who were killed for resisting robbery broke the mountain of Pargham.

So far this year, the number of civilians who have been killed by merciless robbers in Karachi has reached 26, including a 2-year-old girl.

According to the police, on Friday evening in the limits of Pirabad police station, unknown armed suspects opened fire and seriously injured 2 close brothers, out of which one brother, 28-year-old Abdul Moeez, died during treatment, while the other brother was injured. The condition was very critical, however, on Saturday morning, 18-year-old Abdul Hanan also succumbed to his injuries and died in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The deceased brothers Manghupir were residents of Khairabad and were employed in a tailor’s shop. The deceased Abdul Moeez was married 3 months ago.

According to SHO Pirabad Shahid Taj, the deceased brothers were passing through Benares flyover on a motorcycle towards the board office on Friday when armed accused on a motorcycle stopped them at gunpoint and robbed them. They opened fire and fled. As a result of the firing, both brothers were seriously injured, who were immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, one brother died during the treatment while the other brother died on Saturday night.

According to the police, 2 to 3 shots were fired by the armed robbers, however, the police suspect that the two brothers were hit by a single bullet, which injured both of them and died during treatment. The armed suspects escaped by snatching a mobile phone from the deceased brothers. The police are investigating the incident, but a case has not been registered yet.

It should be noted that this year, the number of civilians killed by merciless dacoits in the city of Quaid has reached 26, including a 2-year-old girl, while dozens of civilians have been injured. On the other hand, the citizens erupted after the deaths of unsuspecting citizens due to robbery resistance on a daily basis. The citizens say that the police has completely failed to establish peace and order in the city.

Citizens say that unwashed people have been left open to ruthless robberies. Incompetent police officers sit in their offices and report that everything is fine when the facts are the opposite. Armed dacoits are rampant in markets, highways and areas in the open, and there is no one to stop them. Citizens have demanded that there is no hope of improving the situation in the city until local and competent police officers are appointed in the police stations.
