Lahore: Crime Stopper number has been provided for secret reporting against crimes in Punjab.
According to Safe City spokesperson, citizens can file complaints by calling Crime Stopper number 033SAFECITY i.e. 03372332489 from across the province including Lahore. This special number has been introduced for confidential crime prevention reporting.
Crimes can be reported to ‘Safe City Crime Stopper’ by calling and through the website. The number can be used to report drug dealers, terrorists, brothel operators, as well as robberies, advertising suspects and fugitives from court, fake product manufacturers.
The ‘Crime Stopper’ number can also provide information regarding sex crimes, gambling dens, human trafficking, illegal weapons and theft of electricity, gas, water. According to the spokesman, the Crime Stopper service has been introduced only for confidential reporting. The caller’s number is not displayed on Safe City Crime Stopper.
The spokesman said that confidential information can also be given on the Safe City website www.psca.gop.pk along with photographic or video evidence. In case of emergency, citizens should contact 15 only, while citizens should send important information confidentially related to economic, social, social and serious crimes.
