Nomination papers of PML-N candidate Faiq Jamali rejected
Quetta: Hearings are ongoing in the Election Tribunals on the appeals of the candidates against the rejection of nomination papers by the Returning Officers in the General Election 2024.
In Quetta, the benches comprising of Justice Mohammad Hashim Kakar and Justice Mohammad Amir Nawazrana heard the appeals.
The Election Tribunals dismissed the appeal against former Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri from constituency NA-26 and allowed him to contest the election.
The tribunal also allowed Sardar Akhtar Mengal to participate in the election while voiding the decision to approve the nomination papers of Faiq Jamali, the candidate of PML-N from PB-16.
