Rawalpindi: A prisoner was killed after alleged rape in Central Jail Adiala, the police registered a case of rape and murder against four accused and took them into custody.
According to Express News, a serious incident of murdering the accused Sabil locked in the mill of Adiala Jail Cell 2 has taken place after the alleged rape.
On the request of Superintendent Adiala Jail, a case of the incident has been registered against 4 convicts locked in a mill in Rawalpindi Sadar Baruni police station and they have been detained.
According to the police, a case has been registered under the provisions of murder and rape.
According to the FIR, the accused Sabil was raped by the accused Waqas, Asif, Naqash and Bilal by tying her hands and feet and then killed her by putting a cloth noose around her neck.
Havalati accused Waqas had pressed his foot on the throat and breast of the deceased Sabeel, the deceased was also given medicine for shortness of breath between 31st December and 1st January.
According to the text of the case, on the morning of January 1, the deceased Havalati was lying unconscious in cell 2. His death was confirmed on being transferred to the prison hospital. There were marks on the neck of the deceased which made the cause of death suspicious.
Police say that the body of the deceased prisoner has been handed over to the heirs after the post-mortem.
