Rawalpindi / Quetta: 5 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Mashki area of Awaran district.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces on the information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, the hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed while the cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate terrorists in the area.
The ISPR spokesperson said that the security forces are determined to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan.
