Karachi: Two people, including a policeman, were injured when a car rider was stopped by the policemen during a snap-checking in the Defense area of Shahr Quaid.
SHO Defense Shaukat Hayat said that during snap checking near Qayyumabad CR Patta, the officer signaled the suspicious car to stop, the driver hit the officer and fled.
As a result of the vehicle collision, a policeman and a passer-by were injured who were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.
The SHO said that the police arrested the driver responsible for the accident, Farhan Nazir, and seized the vehicle. He further informed that the condition of Bilal, 30-year-old policeman and citizen is said to be out of danger, but the process of investigation is going on.
