Karachi: The body of a 16-year-old boy found four days ago near Superhighway Faqira Goth in Shahr Quaid area has been identified, the deceased was Tik Takkar.
According to the details, the body found on the morning of December 5 in the bushes on the way from Superhighway Chakar Hotel to Faqira Goth in the area of Superhighway Police Station has been identified as 16-year-old Ali Dost.
The victim was identified by his father Riyaz Ahmed after going to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the victim’s father said that on December 5, the victim’s body was found tortured, who was abducted, tied hands and feet and then strangled to death. He was the eldest of 5 siblings.
He said that the deceased was fond of making videos on Tik Tok and left home at 8 am on December 3, since then he was missing, searched for his son in hospitals, police stations and all other welfare institutions, but there was no trace of him. He was walking, then he saw the news and picture of the body being found on social media, he did not find the mobile phone and wallet from the deceased.
He said that on receiving the information, he immediately reached the Site Superhighway police station, from where he was told to go to Edhi Mortuary, Sohrab Goth, and identify him. He immediately went to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and identified his son’s body in the mortuary.
He said that since December 5, he has been going to the police station on a daily basis, but the police have not registered a case of murder of the deceased.
