Peshawar: CTD police arrested a woman member of the extortion group while conducting an operation on Kohat Road.
According to CTD sources, the extortionist woman has been identified as Maryam Bibi, who was facilitating her extortionist father and his network.
Accused Maryam was involved in contact calls from Afghan network phone numbers, she also made extortion calls to two businessmen and threw an extortion letter at a place in disguise.
According to CTD, action is being taken in Mohmand and Peshawar to arrest the father and network of the arrested accused.
