Lahore: PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif reached the house of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat, where PML-N has offered seat adjustment to PML-Q.
In the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain after 15 years, the two leaders discussed the country’s political situation and mutual cooperation in elections. On this occasion, the PML-Q offered seat adjustment in the elections to the PML-Q.
Along with Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah, Saad Rafiq, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Azam Nazir Tarar and other party leaders were also present. Salik Hussain, Shafi Hussain, Tariq Bashir Cheema and Imtiaz Ranjha also participated in the meeting on behalf of Muslim League-Q. Earlier, Q-League leaders welcomed the guests.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain expressed good wishes for Nawaz Sharif during the meeting. The two leaders discussed mutual cooperation in the upcoming general elections. Apart from this, the PML-Q also made a proposal regarding the number of seats for seat adjustment.
In the meeting, the details of the discussions regarding seat adjustment were also revealed, according to which PML-N has offered seat adjustment to QL on 2 MNA seats. Apart from this, adjustments are also offered on 3 seats of MPA.
PML-Q has decided to call a meeting of its party leadership after the important meeting, in which the proposal regarding seat adjustment will be reviewed with the leaders being taken into confidence regarding the meeting.
