More than 3 lakh 15 thousand learning driving licenses were issued in the last 4 days
Lahore: Traffic Police Punjab made history by issuing more than 95 thousand learning driving license in a single day.
Police issued more than 95 thousand learning driving licenses across the province yesterday.
Additional IG Traffic Mirza Faran Baig said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab and IG Punjab, the issuance of driving license has been made easier across the province.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s vision that every citizen who drives should have a driving license is being fulfilled.
All driving licenses are being issued under DLIMS Point 2 system. Traffic Police Punjab has issued more than 3 lakh 15 thousand learning driving licenses in the last 4 days.
For the first time, such a large number of driving licenses are being issued in any province of Pakistan. After the crackdown on young drivers, driving centers were very crowded.
The DLIMS system was antiquated which required more time for citizens to obtain licences. Under DLIMS Point Zero 2 system, driving learning licenses are being issued to citizens quickly and in less time.
