Trout is found in the mountainous regions of Pakistan. This fish is about 10 to 16 inches long. Its body has very few thorns and the taste of its meat is very delicious. That is why people prefer it over other fish.

Dr. Sikandar Hayat also said that identification of fresh and live fish can be done in a few simple ways. The eyes of fresh fish are transparent, shiny and full and if the eyes are cloudy, it is a sign that it is too late to keep it there.

Dr. Skand Hayat further said that by touching the fish, the flesh of the fresh fish will be nice and firm. If the flesh is soft or mushy, the fish is not fresh.
