According to Express News, a woman tenant in Kahana area was tortured by the landlord along with other women with sticks for non-payment of rent, as a result of which the woman was seriously injured, who was later given medical aid by Rescue 1122. Transferred to hospital.
The video of the incident also surfaced in which it can be seen that the women supporting the house owner are torturing the female tenant and then the injured woman is thrown on the road.
Arshad, the owner of the house, also threw the belongings of the victim woman Kulsoom Bibi out of the house, while the victim, the victim woman, has filed an application at the Kahna police station to seek justice.
In this regard, the landlord Arshad said that this lady (Kulsoom Bibi) had not paid the rent for 3 months.
